See ya in two weeks, real world!

My last week rocked.  You should be immensely jealous.

It was glorious Grad Week with my school, a series of field trips (Though WAY COOLER than regular field trips) open to students grades 8-12.  We went to Timberline Ranch where I got to ride a freaking horse.  a HORSE.  BY MYSELF.  I was so stoked.  We went rock climbing, did archery, and did some team building/obstacle course events too.  Which made me very sore.  And dirty because it was raining (typical).  The next day we went to Grouse Mountain and went snowshoeing, which was so sweet!  I've been snowshoeing, but at Manning, not Grouse.  Grouse was beautiful, I loved it there.  Back at the office we goofed around and watched 'The Adventures of Tintin', which was so good!!!  I've had people tell me it was lame, but you people are just.... dumb.  It was great.  Day three there was this activity called 'Fun Day' (which a few people noted couldn't really be any fun if it was named 'Fun Day'.  Way to obvious.).  Turns out the grads who came got sucked into volunteering, helping out with younger students, which I actually really enjoyed!  I had a great bunch of kids, though.... that helped :-P  AND THEN WE SAW A WHITECAPS GAME, which I enjoyed immensely.  We yelled at the top of our lungs, ate way to much candy and popcorn, and blared the radio on the way home (so worth it, though I feel bad for the lovely teacher who drove us.  Her van speakers may never be the same again).

Results of said week - I'm so incredibly stoked for the school marine biology trip I'm going on in August, I can't stop playing Temple Run (On the iPad I'm borrowing for the marine biology trip :-D ), I met so many awesome people, and I cant wait for grad.  Gahh.

But the glory of said week has been forced into a corner (If you immediately thought "Nobody puts Baby in a corner", props to you :-P ).  I'm now studying like a madwoman for an RCM exam I have in 16 days.... HISTORY I: AN OVERVIEW (dun-Dun-DUNNNN!!!).  I have to memorize the lives, works, musical styles, and contributions of fifteen composers, from the Baroque, Classical, Romantic, and Modern Era.  And any and all related terms.  FACEDESK/.  I have to know, in depth, on of their prominent works (for instance, Mozart's Eine Kliene Nachtmusik; all the movements, all the keys, all the time signatures, all the moods, all the forms.. everything), and a buttload of their other stuff too, just in case.  Like, what if they ask for an Opera that Beethoven wrote!?!? (He only wrote one... Fidelio...)  What if they ask for the name of two of Berlioz's concert overtures!?!?!!? (Waverly and Rob Roy).  I have to know inside and out their whole freaking lives and everything in between.  Do me a favour, and please please please pray for me.  And, another favour... DONT TALK TO ME.  I don't have time, I've got a buttload of studying to do!!!! :-P
