I just finished reading the Hunger Games trilogy. I'm extremely sad now, and I have NO idea what to do with myself... I could fold that pile of laundry that formed over the four days I was buried in the series.... or actually do some schoolwork.
I think I'll just find a new book. ASAP. The real world is far less enjoyable than the worlds in my books :-P
OR I COULD GO SEE THE MOVIE. I haven't seen it yet, and it's killing me. Who hasn't seen it?! If you haven't, call me, and we'll go together. I live really close to the movie theater. I'll even pay.
But if all this fails, I'll have to get outside!!! I love this time of year, when everything is just coming back to life. It's making me want to go camping like crazy, I need a long hike and a swim in a lake somewhere. It's making me loathe living in a development too, where all there is are smelly cars and alleyways and sketchy drainage ponds that you wouldn't dare even your worst enemy to go near. But I found a farm nearby! It's so great, a legit red barn, marking the end of the developments around here. It's in this neighbourhood where all of the houses must be at least 40 years old. A few of them have been renovated, and others have these really quirky add-ons that formed random breezeways and decks. They're full of character :-) And there are cows!!! Glorious cows!!! It made me feel very at home here (finally) :-)
Term is almost over, so my outdoor/movie shenanigans will have to wait until Saturday. (Or, this Friday at midnight, but I have a feeling Saturday might be a bit more convenient, yes?) I was finally able to drive on the road this weekend though. We learned that pointing things out out the window is a bad idea (my dad would be like "Hey, look at that building its so coo--- DON'T LOOK!!!--- it's so cool." He seriously had to say don't look or I would. Yikes), talking about things un-related to driving causes me to completely stop paying attention to the road, then suddenly my speed goes way up, and that long straightaways are a HORRIBLE thing for me to drive down.... It's so hard to not go way over the speed limit... 60km/hr feels so slow... :-S Moral of the story? Don't let me drive you places until I get my FULL license :-P
